FAQ Icon
  • How often should a forklift be serviced?

Most forklifts should be serviced every 250 hours of operation or every three months, whichever comes first. However, the recommended service interval can vary depending on the make, model and working conditions. Forklifts operating in harsh or dusty environments may require more frequent attention. Regular preventative maintenance helps identify minor issues before they become costly repairs and reduces the risk of unexpected breakdowns.

  • Can a forklift or golf cart be repaired onsite?

In many cases, yes. Mobile technicians can attend your site to carry out diagnostics and repairs without the need to transport your machinery to a workshop. Service vehicles are typically stocked with commonly needed spare parts to handle most jobs on the spot. For more complex repairs that require workshop facilities, pickup and delivery options are often available to minimise disruption to your operations.

  • What is the difference between scheduled servicing and emergency repairs?

Scheduled servicing is planned maintenance carried out at regular intervals to keep equipment running reliably and identify potential issues early. Emergency repairs are unplanned callouts in response to a breakdown or fault that has taken equipment out of action. Both are important; regular servicing reduces the likelihood of needing emergency repairs, but having access to a responsive repair service is essential when the unexpected happens.

What We Service

Beyond forklifts and golf carts, our team services a broad range of small plant machinery and outdoor power equipment, including Bobcats, earthmovers, rollers, tractors and ride-on lawnmowers. We offer preventative maintenance programs to keep your fleet in good shape, as well as after-hours callouts when something can't wait until morning (callout fees apply). We also carry out lithium battery conversions for golf carts, forklifts and freight handling equipment. Our free consultation means you can talk through any job before committing. Whatever the machine, we'll assess it and let you know how we can help.
